In one day with only 18 players equally or less in Arnold Palmer Invitationalism, Wyndham Clark can shoot 5 less than 67 years. It carries the initiative on four players sitting in 3 years.
Clark started his tour with a bird and a ghost, but he entered a groove from there. He made a successive bird in the fifth and sixth to achieve the rotation in 34 strikes.
On his back, Bay Golf Club team manufactured birds in Par-4 13th, The Par 5 16th and Par-4 18th to return home at 33.
The 31 -year -old has made the difficult Pay Hill look easy. While the wind gave most people trouble, the weather in the middle of the round turned into Clark.
Clark said after his tour: “I would like to say with certainty of the last five holes in which he calmed down a little.” “It was difficult to find the place of the wind, and this is a challenge in itself. I would like to say that the vegetables were really baked. I was surprised by the speed of the circumstances. Yes, I mean, the last four holes were easier.”

Clark was ranked 5 in the strokes gained from the starting point, where it got 1.631, but it only achieved 7 of 14 corridors. It was also the number 6 about the green captured 2,117 strokes. The former Origon state duck led the field in strokes that gained its total in 7.625.
He also led the Greens in the organization’s category, to 15 out of 18.
Clark did not always get the best luck in Bay Hill. His first start was in 2020, and he got 68. The following year, he missed the reduction. In 2023, Clark finished T34. But last year, it appears recently that he discovered Pay Hill.
Ultimately, he lost to Scotti Chefler inch and settled for second place.
“I feel comfortable a little more,” he said. “I think in the past, sometimes get out of the situation, try to compensate for it, then make a large number. I learned to return it to play and may make your feet or your loudest and do not try to get these big numbers.”
“Perhaps this was so. It is good to put some good numbers on this golf field, and if there is anything, it is really good momentum for the rest of the week.”
This tournament was one of the two who Clark ranked second in Sheffler. Now he is in a similar place, and he looks to take the cup to the home this time.
Clark noted that “it is unfortunate. I had some championships last year that if Scotti was not in this field, I will win.” “This is happening, and I was happy with my finishing. Maybe I can get some redemption in the next few weeks and I hope not to be my Scotty there (laughs).”
