It has been almost a week since Bigg Boss 18 concluded with Karan Vir Mehra lifting the winner’s trophy defeating Vivian Dsena. Days after the ceremony ended, Vivian and his wife, Nouran Ali, hosted a party attended by a number of current and former BB stars. However, some of the key characters from the show – Karan, Shilpa Shirodkar, Cham Darrang and Rajat Dalal – were not there. In an earlier interview, Karan, reacting to the party, claimed that he did not receive an invitation but stated that he would invite them to his celebration. Now, Nooran has shared her side of the story on why Karan was excluded from the gathering.
When Vivian was asked about Karan’s absence from the party, Nouran quickly intervened and explained: “I was the one who was inviting us. It was a surprise party. I will invite the people who did not hurt us, that’s all.”
Nooran invited Avinash Mishra, Isha Singh, Chahat Pandey, Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Munawar Farooqi, Arifeen Khan, Sara Arifeen Khan, Eden Rose and Yamini Malhotra.
During his appearance on Shudh Manoranjan, when Karan Vir Mehra was asked about his equation with Vivian Dsena and his absence from the ceremony, the actor said, “If they had called, I would have gone, but I didn’t get a call. It’s not a big deal. Only one person won the trophy, so it was… Surely someone will feel bad. It’s okay if someone feels bad. If I throw a party, I’ll still invite everyone, but all my brothers and friends should be together”.
Karan Vir Mehra and Vivian Dsena have remained close friends for many years. During Bigg Boss 18, they often fought, which led to a rift between the two.
While Karan Veer won, Vivian Dsena became first runner-up and Rajat Dalal became second runner-up. Avinash Mishra ranked fourth, while Chum Darang and Isha Singh ranked fifth and sixth respectively.
