Just days into Donald Trump’s second term, the new administration’s slogan could be “Promises made, promises kept.”
This now includes Trump’s pledge to declassify government files related to the assassinations of JFK, RFK, and MLK Jr.
Trump signed this executive order today:

When will we see it all unfold? There is evidence of a timeline for the release of declassified documents now in the White House Website:
I have now determined that the continued redaction and withholding of information from records relating to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy is not consistent with the public interest and that the release of these records is long overdue. Although there is no law of Congress mandating the release of information relating to the assassinations of Senator Robert Kennedy and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., I have determined that the release of all records in the possession of the federal government relating to each of those assassinations is also in the public interest.
second. 2. Lifting confidentiality and disclosure. (A) Within 15 days from the date of this order, the Director of National Intelligence and the Attorney General shall coordinate with Assistant President L National Security Affairs and the Presidential Advisor present a plan to the President for the full and complete release of records relating to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
(b) Within 45 days of the date of this order, the Director of National Intelligence and the Attorney General, in coordination with the Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs and Counsel to the President, shall review records relating to the assassinations of Senator Robert F. Kennedy. Kennedy and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and submit a plan to the President for the full and complete release of these records.
It looks like we should see documentation around the spring if the above timeline holds.
According to the order, we will see the documents within 60 days. The Department of Justice and the Director of National Intelligence will work with the White House on “a plan submitted to the President for the full and complete release of these records.” https://t.co/2GAmqLJoEL
