Manchester United icon Gary Pallister believes Diogo Dalot’s loan move to Milan in the 2020/21 season has reignited his career at Old Trafford.
Dalot faced a barrage of criticism after receiving a costly red card in the FA Cup win over Arsenal on Sunday.
However, Pallister offered his support, reminding frustrated fans of his electric display against Liverpool in the previous match.
“Well, that’s not normal for him, is it, on the left side? I mean, listen, I thought he was fantastic against Liverpool last week,” Pallister told Express Sport. Betano.
“They obviously marked the left area where Trent was playing as a right-back, and I have to say he destroyed Trent that day.
“I think he was a really good player for Manchester United. He covered so many roles. He was very professional.
“And after his early days, where I think he struggled, I think since coming back from loan [at Milan]He has been one of our most consistent artists.
“So I have no problem with Diogo Dalot. I think he is a good player and I think Ruben Amorim will look to keep him.”
