The largest offer of its kind, to hesitate It brings together more than 100 artists and musicians working in the fields of visual arts, music, film and live performance. The exhibition showcases the range of commissions and collaborations undertaken by The Vinyl Factory over the past 20 years, including site-specific audio-visual installations and audio experiments by artists including Theaster Gates, Es Devlin and Julianknxx.

to hesitate It also features the UK premieres of artworks by Khalil Joseph, Stan Douglas, Virgil Abloh and Cecilia Bengolia, as well as installations by Caterina Barbieri, Jeremy Deller, William Kentridge, Jane Nkiru, Hito Steyerle, Carsten Nicolai and Gabriel Moses.
Hi-Fi Dream Listening Room No. 1Created and programmed with New York artist Devon Turnbull, it creates a meditative space within the gallery for listening to vinyl with a cutting-edge program of unheard music, including exclusive demo pressings and studio outtakes.


An extensive program of live performances and talks will also be organized on the sidelines of the exhibition. New work by Thester Gates, Amplifywill exist as an audio installation during the day and transform into a space hosting live performances at night, with performances by established and emerging musicians recorded and pressed directly to disc on The Vinyl Factory Lathe.
100 vinyl records created by artists and released by The Vinyl Factory are also on display in a new space designed by Ben Kelly. These releases include Nan Goldin, Arthur Java, Pipilotti Rist, William Kentridge, Mica Levy, Marina Abramović, Grace Jones, Yusef Days, S Devlin, Fred Again, Thom Yorke, Ragnar Kjartansson, Massive Attack, Pet Shop Boys, Maurizio Cattelan, Daft Punk, The XX, Rachel Rose, Koji Radical, Taryn Simone and more.
