Brian James, the founding member of Al -Layaina, died at the age of 70.
The guitarist, who was part of the group’s original group, wrote the first new single in the United Kingdom, and the band helped create its first album, 1977 of 1977.
“I can confirm that Brian died in peace yesterday with his family’s present,” said Easy Action spokesman.
“Riverstster, Brian has gone – this final action that happens to all of us, because most of them is a sad and miserable relationship, but while it is really bad, our colleague was taken to celebrate life … and what is the life in which Brian James was.”
He added: “Looking back, I must say what Brian’s absolute gna was … despite having to endure some horrific behavior before you really did not lose him with me – and whenever we met over the following decades, we had a good blood drink and laughing.”
A statement on the James page on Facebook said that he was “one of the real music pioneers, guitarist, song author, real man” and musician was “constantly creative and a musical tour” during his long career.
He said: “With his wife Mina, his son Charlie, and his daughter Alicia to his side, Brian passed peace on Thursday, March 6, 2025.”

James left the band after releasing her second album, Music for Pleasure, and it was part of the Tanz der Should that did not last long before forming new church lords with American singer Stiv Bators and Drummer Nick Turner.

James continued to work with falling lips, create his own band James Gang, and release individual albums.
In 2020, he and the main cursed singer Dave Vanien, the drama player Christopher, “Try the Mice” and Burns, announced that the band would fix more than four decades after it started in 1976.
James rose with the group in 2022.
Burns said: “When BJ, RAT, DV and DV came back together for the damned original origins, it showed that it was magic in all kinds of roads … We used to paint again of course, but also the way we were able to re -create our evil voice ’76 from the garage from the first tendon in the rehearsals.
“We were all to do it again … but this will never happen now, unfortunately.”
He added that the Brazilian Square group, Brazil, will be dedicated to James, “without them, the damned never happened.”
