Dr. Robert Massi from the Royal Astronomical Society gives the science correspondent of the father Gosh on how to discover it

Skywatchers in the treatment of this week, four planets – Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Venus, Neptune, Mercury, and Saturn will all be visible for a short period in the evening sky.

This phenomenon, known as the “Planetary procession”, is a rare scene, and it will be the last time that seven planets can be seen well until 2040.

It will be the best opportunity to see the largest possible number of planets after sunset on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Four of the planets – mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Mars – will be visible to the naked eye. It will be difficult to see Saturn because it will be low on the horizon. You will need a telescope to discover other planets – Uranus and Neptune.

How can the planetary artist in our solar system fabricate in a row – of course not completely clear

Good view of the horizon and Clear Skies will provide the best opportunity to discover all of them. However, the window to see all the seven planets will be very short.

“There is a rare opportunity for seven planets in a suitable place to search for them,” said Dr. Edward Bloomer, astronomer at the Royal Observatory Greenwich.

With sunset, Saturn and Mercury will also make the environment, making it difficult to see in particular.

“You really have just a few minutes after sunset to arrest them before they fall under the horizon. After that, you will remain able to see Venus, Jupiter, and Mars clearly for a much longer period.”

The planets revolve in our solar system from the sun inside the same flat level as Earth.

When they rotate at speeds and distances different from the sun, there are moments that appear to float from the Earth’s perspective, which creates an amazing visual show, although the planets remain separated with wide distances in space.

We had picturesque views of the planets already this year, like this one in January, where you can see Mars on the left, Jupiter in the middle, Saturn and Venus on the right – but this week provides the best opportunity to see all of them

Venus and Jupiter will be easier to discover because of its brightness, while Mars will have a distinct red color.

Dr. Bloomer explains: “Uranus is technically visible with the naked eye, but you will need perfect eyesight and perfect conditions.”

To improve your chances of seeing the largest possible number of planets, Dr. Bloomer advises to go to a location with a clear view of the horizon and the minimum light pollution.

“If you only get out of your kitchen in your rear garden, it will take time to adapt to lighting levels. Give it some time – your eyes take about half an hour to fully adapt,” said Dr. Bloomer.

“Avoid looking at your phone, rest, and ensuring that you have a view not concerned with the horizon.”

While this is an exciting opportunity, Dr. Bloomer encourages people to achieve the habit of staring at the night sky.

“See how things change,” he said, adding that monitoring the heavens is “an opportunity to see the ongoing mechanics of the solar system at work.”

Will the sky be clear enough to see them this week?

While the weather is still somewhat unstable, the most obvious and quieter conditions are expected to develop later in the week.

It will start on Tuesday evening with clear seizures, but cloud and rain will move from the West later.

On Wednesday night, the sky will be more wound in general with shower rain at times.

By Thursday, he expected a more dry and more clear view of the night sky. Earlier in the evening is the best, as fog stains and fog may develop at night.

High pressure is expected to dominate on Friday, while maintaining dry conditions for most clear episodes. Soon after, you prefer sunset because fog stains and fog may develop later.
