A hospital spokesman confirmed on Sunday, when a second child died in schools in West Texas due to measles.
Aaron Davis, a spokesman for the UMC health system in Lubok, said that the child “is receiving a treatment for measles complications while entering the hospital” and has not been vaccinated. The hospital refused to say what day the child died.
The American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention does not include nor the services of the Ministry of Health in Texas to death in the measles reports issued on Friday.
