The US Football Association announced that it will play a regular seasonal game in Ireland for the first time in 2025, with the appointment of Crook Park to host the latest addition to its international schedule.
Commissioner Roger Jodel revealed last November that a game in Ireland was a “possibility” in 2025, with the US Football Association asserting its international schedule for the next season on Friday and revealed Pittsburgh Steps as a team dedicated to Ireland in September.
Dublin has hosted many university football matches over the past decade at the Aviva Stadium, but Croke Park – which hosted the pre -Prestson game between Pittsburgh Steles and Chicago Bears in 1997 – will be the latest international place in the American Football Association.

The addition of Ireland continues to grow in the US Football Association abroad
The US Football Association has been hosting matches in the United Kingdom since Miami Dolphins has faced the giants of New York at Wembley Stadium in October 2007, with one match per year in London until 2012 before increasing two games for the 2013 season.
At least three in the year in London has been played since 2014, where the Twickenham stadium hosted equipment in 2016 and 2017 before granting Tottenham Hotspr stadium two games in the 2019 season.
The international chain has expanded since then to Mexico, Germany and Brazil, while Madrid in Spain will join Ireland in hosting a match for the first time in 2025 and Australia will be included from the 2026 season on the rise.

The New York Jets, Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars have been confirmed as the local teams designated for NFL London 2025 games.
Jets will play in the United Kingdom for the second year in a row and for the fourth time in general after being defeated 23-17 against Minnesota Vikings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last October.
Cleveland returned to the second London match in the history of the concession after losing from 33-16 against Vikings in Toekenham in 2017, while Jags will visit the capital for the fourteenth time in the league after playing consecutive matches abroad for two years running.
MIAMI DOLPHINS is the team assigned to the Madrid match at Bernabeu Stadium, with Colts Indianapolis in Germany – the first NFL game held in Berlin.
