Mark Silby promised to buy his 10 -year -old daughter Sofia in Oqda after banking services 100,000 pounds to win the Open Welsh title on Sunday evening.

Silby defeated Stephen Maguire 9-6 in Lanodeno to raise the Rai Reerdon Cup for the second time in his career.

His wife and his daughter Sofia attended and joined him to take a picture of victory on the table.

However, there was a nervous moment while leading 6-5, immediately before the evening break, Silby was worried that the tide was turning.

Silby ranked 60-0, but he missed a routine red. Maguire rose and took the framework 71-65 to achieve equality – and it could have been proven.

“In the red color (Sofia), it may have recommended it too. I will get one [a Kindle] If she wants, Silby said.

“Stephen has declared him, was ridiculous, one of the best conclusions I saw. But she did not surprise me.”

Maguire said: “I just want to say thanks to the crowd. I do not usually get a lot of support but Lladudno was giving me that, thank you.

“I spent a good week, I enjoyed myself and did not appear in the end.

“He played well in the last three tires and has never seen a ball until the last minute. There is nothing you can do when he puts all balls.

“Listen, I will not give it only to him. But as I said, at the age of six, I never saw a ball until it was accomplished.
