Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez is scheduled to be excluded for this season after the front cruciate ligament is tearing, according to reports in Argentina.

Martinez fell embarrassing after playing with the ball with the Palace of Crystal Ismail Sar during a 2-0 defeat on Old Trafford.

The defender went immediately as he grabbed his knee and was closed from the field shortly after.

Full -time, Robin Amorim hinted that the injury seems “serious” and that his fears have been confirmed now, Tyc SPORTS Reporting that Martinez has suffered from an ACL injury that requires surgery.

Although the timeline has not been confirmed, this 27 -year -old Magintude injury is probably governed for approximately six to eight months.

Martinez has already established himself as a group of Amurim’s defense, with 14 of the last 15 games with United in all competitions.

The former defender in Ajax also suffered his recent problems in his last campaign, as he managed 11 league games only due to various injuries.

Marthijs de Ligt replaced Martinez on Sunday, and should come directly to the side in favor of the fourth round of the FA Cup at the end of next week with Leicester City.

Victor Lindelof is also an option, while Johnny Evans is still prepared with muscle feasibility.

Martinez also joins Luke Shaw and Mason Mount at the United Treatment table, although Shaw is now returning to training the first team as he continues to rehabilitate from his last injuries.
