Leberron James enjoys connecting with Luca Donick in Los Angeles Lakers – after he initially thought about the Slovenian trade with Anthony Davis was a “trick”.
Doncic, a star in the American Professional League over the past five seasons, has arrived at Lakers from Dallas Marax last week, as Davis went in the opposite direction in an amazing step.
James and Davis have been teammates over the past six years, and won the American Professional League title in 2020, but the 40 -year -old said that the loss of his friend did not make him think about the future of Lakers.
James said about the shock shock.
“M. [Davis] He talked to me and spoke to him for a long time, even when I got out of the phone with him, still looks real.
“It was definitely a moment of strange and uncomfortable fact for us. Just know that it will disappear, that was very difficult.
“It still doesn’t seem real until I saw Luka today and I saw a declaration clip in Dallas.
“If I have concerns about it, I will give up the condition of not trade and leave here. I’m here now. I am committed to Lakers.
As the team leader, as one of the team captain, my job is to make it as smooth as possible [for the new acquisitions]”
Liberon: Luka was my favorite player for a period of time
In his relationship on the field with Doncic, the best scorer in the American Professional League in 2024, James added: “[We can be] All we want to be. It will not take long. I can play with anyone and I think he can. So we will work well together. “
“Luka has been my favorite player in the American Professional League for a while now. I think you know it.
“I have always tried to play the game in the right way and inspire the next generation. It happens that Luca is one of them. Now we are teammates, so it will be a very smooth transition.
“It will be special. We will attract a lot of eyes.
“Luka is a great player. [He’s] The 25 -year -old has not yet reached its severity, and he has already made some amazing things in our league.
“I am happy with his presence and Los Angeles, he is pleased to have it. It is still a little surreal, to be honest.”
