Lucy Hale celebrated achieving three years of sobriety.

In January 2024, the Pretty Little Liars actress announced that she had quit drinking alcohol two years earlier after deciding she was “a heavy book drinker.”

Lucy confirmed, via her Instagram account on January 1, that she had not had a drink for three years and acknowledged the inner strength she gained during the trip.

She wrote in the caption: “Damn. On this day 3 years ago, I began my journey to remember who I am. Since then, I have experienced moments that can only be described as miracles and pure magic.” “I am so grateful every day – for the people who have been guiding me, for a power greater than myself who loves me unconditionally, and for my perseverance in never giving up.”

Lucy went on to thank her 23 million followers for their ongoing support and urged others with alcohol problems to reach out to medical professionals for help.

The 35-year-old continued: “To everyone who has supported my journey, I have felt your love and it means everything to me.” “If you’re struggling or going down a similar path, keep going. Just keep going. You’re not alone, and the world needs you.”

In response to Lucy’s candid post, a number of her celebrity followers congratulated her on this achievement.

“So proud of you,” wrote Demi Lovato, who has also been candid about her past struggles with addiction and sobriety.

Elsewhere, Rachel Bilson gushed: “Yes babe”, and Lana Condor praised: “You’re amazing!!!”
