Earlier this month, billionaire books“Only the AfD can save Germany.” Last week, he wrote an opinion column for Welt am Sonntag A newspaper supported the party and described it as “the last spark of hope.”
“The AfD, though described as far-right, represents a political realism that resonates with many Germans who feel their concerns are ignored by the establishment,” Musk wrote. “Portraiting the AfD as far-right is clearly wrong, considering that Alice Weidel, the party’s leader, has a gay partner from Sri Lanka! Does this sound like Hitler to you? Come here!”
