Kristen even addressed the rumored affair between him and ex-girlfriend Kelly Henderson while they were still married, revealing that it may have happened.
The star also described their romance as “toxic,” something she previously said in 2022.
She said that even though Jay never apologized to her for some of the things that happened during their marriage, she was still able to forgive him and sympathize with the former football star.

Kristen spoke out about the alleged affair between Jay and Kelly — who was also her Very Cavallari co-star — while he was still married to Kristen.
“I don’t really think anything happened,” she said on the podcast.
However, she seemed to step back and wonder if anything had happened between them.
‘I don’t really think anything happened. F**k I don’t know how to be honest with you. Do I know for sure? No.’
Adding that he “used to trash her” — meaning to talk badly about her, which she says could mean something was going on between the two.
“Jay used to break it down, and I think if there’s a guy abusing a girl, there’s probably something going on,” Kristin explained.
“When you’re dealing with a pathological liar, it’s hard to know what the damn truth is,” the businesswoman said.
Adding, “People who lie to you or betray you, it’s because they’re hurt.” This is about them. She pointed out that this had nothing to do with me.

She admitted that there were good things in their marriage, revealing that he was like her “narcissistic” father and she repeated this pattern from her childhood.
The former couple sat together at their son’s basketball game this year, something she still can’t believe happened.
“We were sitting together at a basketball game earlier in the year, and I thought, ‘Oh my God, this is the best thing that has ever happened,'” she said. Jesus Christ, we did it.”
