The Rolex watches are believed to have been stolen during a burglary at the actor’s Los Angeles home in late 2023.
Among the recovered items is a Rolex Submariner watch engraved with Reeves’ first name and the inscription “2021, JW4, Thank You, The John Wick Five.” This particular watch holds sentimental value, as Reeves has been known to gift similar models to his stunt team John Wick: Chapter 4 In 2021. The Rolex Submariner, one of the brand’s most popular models, retails for approximately US$9,000 / AU$13,500, according to the official Rolex website.
The discovery occurred during a police operation in eastern Santiago, Chile, targeting a series of local robberies. The authorities found a large collection of valuable jewelry and watches, at least one of which was identified as belonging to a “famous actor” who was the victim of the robbery in December 2023.
Chilean police, in cooperation with American officials, traced the stolen items back to Reeves’ burglary. A 21-year-old man was arrested in connection with this case.
