Before being born as a director of the Federal Investigation Office on Friday, Cash Patel put his maximum priority to the agency in a letter to subordinates obtained by Fox News Digital, pledged to enhance the office resources and “rebuild the confidence of the American people at the FBI.”
“I am honored to be nominated and confirmed as a new director,” Patel wrote to colleagues. “While I am new to the office, I spent my career in government service and the past contract in national security, and working alongside the FBI and many of its partners in all law enforcement and intelligence societies. Patel also repeated that maintaining the safety of Americans at home and abroad is the “task of failure” that the FBI must continue to support in the coming months.

The message continued, “While I take this new role, my priorities for our institution are two parts. The presence of field agents across the country and cooperate more closely with our basic partners in law enforcement and local states.

Patel – nominated by President Donald Trump – was confirmed as the ninth FBI director in a narrow Senate vote on Thursday, and former director Christopher Ray succeeded. It is scheduled to be divided on Friday afternoon.
During the first Trump administration, Patel worked as an assistant deputy president and first director to combat terrorism. He played a major role in the tasks of lowering al -Qaeda leaders and high -level ISIS, including planning the operation that killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al -Baghdadi in these situations. Patel also contributed to efforts to capture some of the most expensive terrorists and brought them to the United States to trial.

Patel was the main deputy of the Office of the National Intelligence Director (ODNI), where he helped the leadership of the DNI Ric Grenell and John Ratcliffe before his role as a representative of Trump and the National Security Council.

He also focused on intelligence related to anti -anti -national anti -threats. Before ODNI, Patel held the position of National Security Adviser and chief adviser to combat terrorism in the House of Representatives. There, the investigation of the Russian intervention in the 2016 elections led, and revealed the abuse of Fisa and the illegal monitoring of the Americans, including members of the Trump campaign.
