Hi – I am Deborah Vancin, a well -being in Los Angeles Times. I am not sure of you, but 2025 has been for now. Especially since the fires forced us in January at home, and we stole the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful outdoor Los Angeles during the most wonderful time per year.

This is why it is time to walk. The tracks often hit when I need to be reset. Although I usually moved alone, I find a special increase in a group of activation – especially with people I do not know yet. We literally meet on a common floor, which is a common love for the open air.

We would like to invite 30 subscribers at La Times to join us at the reader’s height on Saturday, March 8, at 9 am, exploring the opening event in a series of long -distance walking events last June, Lower Arroyo Seco; The second, under the leadership of my colleague, Jacqueline Kosagerov in October, passed Gabrielino Trail along Arroyo Seco. This time, we will walk long distances in the urban track Elysian Park West.

The height is an easy 2.4 -mi loop, it is very flat from the road, with a few short but cute millions. It is one of my favorite places to take its depths because it looks like a remote nature escape and a round view of some of the most dramatic cities in Los Angeles. Tourist attractions include parts of the La River, Dodger Stadium and Downtown La Skyline. A mixture of scents and sounds – Bnessong is heading with the traffic and fast music, the scent of wild wild and barbecue smoke – all feel unique to me.

We will meet in The TrailHead in Elysian Park Drive, off Way Stadium. Stand on Lot At Grace E. Simons Lodge and walk at the bottom of Elysian Park Drive until you reach Stadium Way. You will see the way on your left. There are no bathrooms on this height, but you can use one in the hostel after standing.

As I did the last time, I will lead the group in a few gentle extensions to relieve us before walking. I will also share what I learned about geography and the history of the region during our height. This event should take about two hours walking at a leisurely pace.

Please bring comfortable and comfortable shoes and a sunscreen and water. We welcome dogs on the wheel as well. I know that a few of my colleagues will attend them. (I was bringing my cat but constructing long distances!)

This event is free for the first 30 subscribers in registration. The attendees should be 18 years old or older and must sign a concession before height.

You can break a spot Here on Eventbrite.com. We see you there!
