Cape Capeeral, Florida – Blue origin launched its huge new missile on the first test trips on Thursday, and sent a primary satellite to a thousand miles on the ground.
New Glenn Rochet was named after the first American to Earth, from Florida, where it rose from the same painting used to launch the leading spacecraft in NASA half a century ago.
The years in making hard financing by the Amazon Jeff Bezos founder, 320 feet (98 meters) missile carries a trial platform designed to host or launch satellites in its appropriate orbits.
The seven major engines launched Laffoff while the missile was burning across Predawn sky to the joy of spectators wearing nearby beaches. Bezos participated in the work of Mission Control, and blue asset staff erupted in chants as soon as the craft arrived successfully after 13 minutes, which is the achievement of the effects of praise from Elon Musk from Spacex.
In the first stage, the supporter was absent from his landing on the battery in the Atlantic Ocean, but the company confirmed that the most important goal has been achieved. Beyzos said before the trip he was “a little crazy” until trying to land in the first attempt.
“We did that!” Dave Limp, CEO of Blue Origen, said via X about access to orbit. “To the spring and try again to land.”
For this test, the satellite was supposed to remain in the second stage during the Earth’s rotation. The plans called for placing the second stage in a safe state to stay in a high orbit outside the road, according to NASA’s practices to reduce the scrap of space.
New Glin was supposed to fly before dawn on Monday, but the accumulation of ice in the critical plumbing caused delay. The missile was built to transport space vehicles and ultimately astronauts to orbit as well as the moon.
Blue Origin, founded 25 years ago by Bezos, was established and pushed to passengers on the edge of space since 2021, including the same. Short jumps from Texas are used as smaller missiles called the first American name in space, Alan Shepherd. New Glen, who honors John Glen, is five times longer.
The blue asset poured more than a billion dollars on the New Glen launch site, and a historical complex was rebuilt at the Cape Caperal Fores Fores station. The distance is 9 miles (14 km) from the company’s control centers and the missile factory, outside the doors of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
Blue Orige from six to eight new flights from Glenn this year, next to the next spring.
In an interview at the weekend, Bezos refused to disclose his personal investment in the program. He said he did not see the blue origin in a competition with Musk’s Spacex, the Long The Rockting-Wunding Dominator.
“There is room for many winners,” Bezos said, adding that this was “the beginning of this new stage of the space, as we will all work together as an industry … to reduce the cost of access to space.”
New Glenn is the latest in a series of Rockkets Big and the new that will be launched in recent years, including United Alliance’s Vulcan, ARIANE 6 and NASA in NASA, or SLS, behind the Saturn V Agency to send astronauts to a moon.
The largest missile ever, at an altitude of about 400 feet (123 meters), is a Spacex vehicle. Musk said that the seventh test flight of the full missile had later occurred on Thursday from Texas. He hopes to repeat what he withdrew in October, when he hunted the return supporter on the launch platform with giant mechanical arms.
Starsp is what NASA plans to use in astronauts on the moon later in this nodes. You will see the first landing of the APOLLO APR program, which follows the APOLLO tasks in the 1960s and 1970s, crews from the moon’s orbit to the surface in the mouth.
Lander will appear blue, called Blue Moon, for the first time in the third lunar landing by astronauts.
Nassa Bill Nelson’s official prompted the moon competing with the same as the strategy of employing two companies to transport astronauts to and from the International Space Station. Nelson will step down when President -elect Donald Trump will take office on Monday.
Trump exploited technical billionaire Jared Ishaqan to run NASA. ISAACMAN, which has been spent twice per orbit, must be approved on its private sector flights, by the Senate.
The appearance of New Glen was supposed to send a dual spacecraft to Mars for NASA. But the space agency pulled them from the planned trip last October when it became clear that the missile will not be ready in time. They will continue to fly on the new Glenn missile, but not until the spring as soon as possible. The small spacecraft, called Escapade, aims to study the atmosphere of Mars and the magnetic environment while revolving around the red planet.
