Thousands of demonstrators in many Israeli cities called for a continuation of the ceasefire in the Gaza war and the firing of more hostages.
With the end of the first stage of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas on Saturday, people gathered in Tel Aviv, Haifa and other cities.
In Tel Aviv, activists have sat on a street wearing chains and iron masks with the faces of the hostages in the Gaza Strip since October 2023.
On the ground, they cleared the request in the Hebrew language to release the remaining hostages: “All of them.”
There are currently 59 hostages in the hands of Islamists in the Gaza Strip. Among them is said only 24 alive.
“I think every day of the hostages are still there.”
“Each hour, every minute of the day.”
Truvanov urged: “Do not let feelings of revenge, anger and anger stand over the values of unity, brotherhood and holiness for human life.”
The extension of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement that Israel requested was rejected, with more hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners, by Hamas.
Hamas requires the implementation of the second stage, which would end the war. However, Israel insists on its goal of the war of destroying the terrorist organization entirely.
No progress has yet been reported in indirect ceasefire talks in Cairo.
The Israeli media reported that the army is already training intensively on a possible appeal for the war in the Gaza Strip.
A video of hostage was released
Earlier, Hamas released another hostage video.
The footage, which was shared on the TELEGRAM channel of the armed group under the title “Time Is Out”, features Eitan Horn, the brother of IAIR HORN, who was released two weeks ago after nearly 500 days in captivity.
The video, which was recorded shortly before the launch of the iir, shows the brothers crying, embraces. “Everyone takes out and does not separate families. Do not destroy all our lives,” says a message on the video.
Israeli officials classify videos like psychological warfare by Hamas, and it is believed that the footage was filmed under coercion.
In the video, Eitan Horn is addressing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and he is asking him to sign the second stage of the hostage deal.
