Many companies have been quick to provide new general AI tools to their employees, but the approach has varied among employees. Researchers at Deloitte hypothesized that the reason employees don’t use these tools — and companies don’t see a strong return on investment — is because employees lack confidence in the technology. The researchers decided to try a new program that aims to address what they call the “four Cs of trust”: reliability, capacity, transparency, and humanity. After launching the initiative with a test group of 750 Deloitte consultants, researchers observed a 49% rise in perceptions of the tool’s reliability, a 52% increase in beliefs about its transparency, a 14% increase in new users and a 65% increase in the number of new users.
