Hodag’s story was arose in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, and was later circulated in October 1893 by local excellent Eugene Shepard.
According to the original story, Chaibard and his team went to the depth of the forest, where they found and seized Hodge.
This terrifying monster is so strong and aggressive that it took many men and hunting dogs to subjugate them. Shepard has even claimed that he exposes the creature to the general presentation, drawing to the curious spectators who are eager to see the monster directly.
However, the story was soon revealed to be trick. Shepherd has formulated Hodag of wood and animal skins, using the local population.
But despite its repayment, the legend grown only, as Hodag turned into one of the most popular Cryptids in Wisconsin.
