Let’s take a quick international trip to see the latest in Tokyo Disneyland, which gets great coverage from Marvel in its “It’s a Small World” attraction.
In the US, it’s festival season at Walt Disney World with pop culture fan favorite Arts Festival opening at Epcot; At Magic Kingdom, Space Mountain is celebrating 50 years. At Universal Studios Orlando evil The craze continues with a new look at its official store, and Stella Nova is preparing to host its first guests as the countdown to the Epic Universe begins in earnest.
On the West Coast, things are getting quieter as Southern California recovers from the effects of the Los Angeles fires. Due to its location, Disneyland was able to stay open while people were evacuated to Anaheim. Universal Studios Hollywood closed briefly but opened its doors once the fires moved away from the Studio City area, though you should still be careful if you plan to visit (definitely keep an eye on Different readings of the air quality index).
To help Los Angeles recover, Film City is inviting Angelenos to the movies for a series of free screenings to support evacuees. Disney Studios, Paramount, Academy Museum and Revival Theaters offer free movie escapes for family films, and some theaters donate a percentage of proceeds from other film screenings held in addition to ongoing donation drives. For a complete list of how we can help people in Los Angeles, check out this post from black list.
