Little Nion photos suddenly have the lead in the Oscar race.
Sean Baker’s Indie Creation, “Anora”, on Saturday night, won awards from the Director Syndicate and the Producers Syndicate.
On Friday night, “Anora” won the best drama in the Critics Choice Awards.
As Oscar cards come out on Tuesday, “Anora” suddenly became in the foreground to get the best image. Baker at the front of the line for the best way out. The star Micky Madison – who was presenting in the best actress race early this season – returned to her site to surprise everyone.
“Anora” is a wild collection with a brochlyn club wilderness and the world of the few Russian. It is a completely rounded and sick film that may surpass “Kamel”, “Conclave”, “WICADED”, “Emilia Perez”, and the best other films.
We also also know the winners of the Actors Syndicate Awards on the screen before the start of an Oscar. But this year SAG does not come until February 23, after the Oscars. We may learn something from the SAG winners, but they will not affect the vote. These three – CCA, DGA, and PGA – are now from the bell this season.
If “Anora” finally won the Academy Award for Best Image, no one can be unhappy. It is very fun, made well, completely original. Baker pushed his dues with wonderful films that lead to this moment. And noon is more worthy.
