Starlink can now access the ELON Musk’s Spacex, via the White House campus. This is the latest Wi-Fi network installation throughout the government since Mr. Musk joined the Trump administration as an unpaid consultant.
It was not immediately clear when the White House complex was provided with Starlink after President Trump took office for a second term.
Starlink stations can be placed, rectangular panels that receive internet signals from SpaceX moons in low -Earth orbit, on physical structures. But instead of placing it physically in the White House, it is now said that Starlink is directed through the White House Data Center, with the existing fiber cables, from the complex.
White House officials said the installation was an attempt to increase the availability of the Internet in the complex. They said that some property areas cannot get cell service and that the infrastructure in the Wi-Fi network has been overlooked.
“The voltage is to improve the Wi-Fi connection on the complex.”
But the circumstances are different from any previous position to solve internet services. Mr. Musk, who is now a non -paid consultant working as a “private government employee” at the White House, controls Starlink and other companies that have organizational issues before or contracting with the federal government. In February, Chris Stanley, who is currently working as a security engineer in Mr. Musk companies, Spacex and the X social media platform, went to the roof of the Eisenhower executive offices at the White House complex to explore Starlink’s installation there. Mr. Stanley also works with the Ministry of Governmental Efficiency for Mr. Musk as a private government employee.
When Mr. Stanley opened a door that leads to the roof of the building, which is located directly compared to the entrance to the White House, he found an alert that the secret service was alerted to its presence.
