Paula Badosa has reached her first Australian Open quarterfinals.

The world No. 12 is back where she left off at the end of last season after being named the WTA Comeback Player of the Year.

But her boyfriend, ATP star Stefanos Tsitsipas, was struggling to find his form and crashed out in the first round in Melbourne.

Following her win over Olga Danilovic on Sunday, Badosa expressed her desire to see Tsitsipas inspired by her career.

“I hope so. It really helps me,” she said.

“Even the day after the game, we were talking about my game. He gave me advice. He gave me advice.

He added, “Even today in the match he was present. He really inspires me because he has already done a lot in the world of tennis. For me, having someone like him give me his opinion, it is something I admire and love.”
