A flight in the United States has released footage showing a concept version of its flight car, which performs a vertical take -off before flying over the SUV.
Jim Duchovny, CEO of Alex Aernoutics, the BBC’s great technology correspondent, Chris Vallas, told him that he had thousands of pre -orders and hoped to start production within 12 months.
For about 300,000 dollars (237,000 pounds), the company says that buyers will get an electrical car with a mobile range of 110 km (68 miles). But taking a friend to rotate may be difficult – the cockpit only contains enough space for one and a half.
As Vallance indicates, Alef Aeronautics is not the only one trying to make flight cars take off with buyers, and there are huge technological and organizational obstacles to overcome them.
