Paris Hilton felt like her heart was “shattered” when she visited what remained of her burned-out home.

The media personality took to Instagram on Thursday to share that she visited her Malibu home, which burned down in the ongoing wildfire crisis.

“I stand here in what was our home, and the heartbreak is truly indescribable,” Paris wrote alongside a video showing the remains of the home. “When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock – I couldn’t process it.”

She continued: “But now, as I stand here and see it with my own eyes, I feel like my heart has been shattered into a million pieces.”

The Simple Life star reflected on the “lovely memories” she, husband Carter Reum, and their young children, Phoenix and London, shared at the beachfront home.

“This house wasn’t just a place to live, it was a place where we dreamed, laughed, and created the most beautiful memories as a family,” the 43-year-old wrote. “Phoenix’s little hands created art that I will cherish forever, with love and life filling every corner. Seeing it reduced to ash…it’s devastating beyond words.”

Paris, who watched her house burn live earlier this week, said she remains “incredibly lucky” that her family and pets are safe.

Meanwhile, model Bella Hadid revealed that her mother Yolanda Hadid’s house in Malibu was also destroyed by the fires.

The 28-year-old took to Instagram to share a photo of her childhood home, which can be seen engulfed in flames.

Bella captioned the photo, “Childhood bedroom (sad face emoji).”

The list of celebrities who have lost their homes to wildfires continues to grow, including Miles Teller, Ricki Lake, Adam Brody, Leighton Meester, Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag, Anthony Hopkins, Anna Faris and more.
